Hiking & Wine…

The romantic and award-winning hiking trail „Moselsteig“ runs directly through the art nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach and can be reached quickly from your flat. The hiking trail takes you to the Grevenburg ruins, among other places, and can be used as a starting point for your circular walks (on foot or on wheels) with fantastic views of the Moselle valley.

And you are at the Moselle! Moselle without wine? Impossible! The holiday region of Traben-Trarbach is situated in the middle of the wine cultural landscape of the Middle Moselle. The world-famous Riesling wines grow here on incomparable slate slopes. Whether white or red – take the time for an individual wine tasting. There is much to discover, especially the delight at (almost) every corner.

Art Nouveau and Underworld…

In Traben-Trarbach, Bruno Möhring built unique buildings in the Art Nouveau style, which are still excellently preserved today. Do not miss the Art Nouveau tour „In the footsteps of the Belle Epoque“.

At the turn of the century, Traben-Trarbach was also the second largest wine trading town in Europe after Bordeaux. The (wine cellar) underworld still bears witness to this today and can also be explored on a guided tour. It is quite special to enter a cellar on the banks of the Moselle, to pass under various buildings, even a main road, and then to see daylight again in a garden or a winery – true recommendation!

From Traben-Trarbach you can discover and visit the traces of the history of the Moselle valley. The Tourist Information offers informative guided tours on all topics. Explore the city and surrounding area on foot and learn a lot about the culture and history of our diverse region.

We wish you a good and relaxing time!

And. Of course. Celebrating.
